The urban apartment building covers half a city bloc in the fifteenth arrondissement of Paris. The basic meander shape of the building allows the placement of eight intimate inner gardens, each one designed differently based on a special theme. The meander shape also provides many corner apartments with double orientation. The ground floor is taken up by spaces for urban services, such as a kindergarten, a medical centre and shops. The facade is made of white Parisian stone, to blend in the surrounding but also to make a clear framework for the colourful gardens.
