The 24-hectare railway yard is transformed into a new urban park and a new work district. All build volume is concentrated in a dense strip on the harbour side, leaving abundant space for uninterrupted linear park to become the final link in the green belt around the city. The layout consists of a configuration of building envelopes of different heights that can be filled over time. They will have a view across the harbour and the western part of the park. The eastern site is developed as an urban park full of activities for sports and leisure for the adjacent dense urban living quarters.
