The large block and two smaller blocks are part of the master plan on the former Water Works site. The plan is characterized by its ecological set up, a green, traffic-free area with housing blocks of four storeys, enclosed by a larger building that gradually rises to ten storeys. All dwellings have a front door at street level and a private garden or a roof terrace, minimizing the use of galleries, corridor or balconies. Bathrooms, staircases and entrance zones are situated in the centre of the block. This allows a freedom for far-reaching differentiation in elevations and floor plans.
