The Cincinnati Art Museum consists of a collection of historical buildings that were added over the past century. The concept offers a museum that has clear and separate spaces, attractive to exhibit different types of art plus a pleasant working environment for all employees. The existing building presents itself in smaller “en suite” galleries. The new part consists of two clearly distinguishable elements: an extensive exhibition hall and a 60 meters high tower that offers spectacular views over Cincinnati. Outside, a remarkable sculpture garden will strengthen the relationship between the city and the museum.
